This class filled up very quickly in June, so we're offering a repeat in July! We're welcoming back Jackie Goad Harmon to teach this summer hands-on experience. Jackie is a self-taught home baker with a passion for sourdough and a desire to share her homemade creations. A deaf education teacher by trade, Jackie spends her spare time baking and sharing her tasty creations via Baked with Love, a home-based bakery that hopes to one day provide jobs for adults with disabilities.
In this class, Jackie will demonstrate how to create your own sourdough starter and bake your first loaf of sourdough bread. Various flavors of sourdough bread will also be available for tasting.

Hands-on classes include a plated selection of featured menu items from the class and a non-alcoholic beverage. You are welcome to bring your own beverage of choice. You might also want to plan on eating a light dinner before or after class to complement the bread you'll enjoy during the demonstration. All attendees will receive 20% off in-stock store merchandise (excludes classes and grab-and-go foods).

So, if you need to cancel or postpone your class registration, please give us as much advance notice as possible, as we have waiting lists for most classes and can fill empty seats sometimes at the last minute. We are also subject to rising costs in food due to food shortages throughout the country, which affects our preparations for each class. If for any reason you can't make it and notify us within 48 hours, we can issue a store credit to be used for a future class or even store merchandise or food. No refunds will be issued for no-shows or cancellations made under 48 hours.
